Let’s Go Fishing!

The 2008 Season opens on April 19 for trophy Rockfish - the limit is 1 fish per person over 32 inches (20-60 lbs.). The trophy season is followed in May with a Rockfish limit of 2 fish per person over 18 inches with only 1 of the 2 over 28 inches. The fishing season continues with Sea trout, Blues, Croaker, Spot, Flounder, and Spanish through out the summer. The remainder of the summer, bottom fishing and live bait fishing provide a bonanza catch. Action on big fish increases as waters cool catching Rockfish, Sea trout and Blues. As the Rockfish begin to migrate in November and December the trophy size fish are again available.

The "Carrie Sue", a custom-designed fiberglass 46’X16’ charterboat powered by twin turbo-charged diesel engines and certified by the U.S. Coast Guard to carry 30 passengers, will provide an enjoyable outing for your family, friends, co-workers or clients. A spacious cockpit, large dinette and stand-up private head provide plenty of room for a large group to go in first class comfort at reasonable rates.

The "Carrie Sue" is owned and operated by Capt. Hank. Capt. Hank’s 35 years experience fishing the Chesapeake Bay will ensure your fishing expedition is a safe and memorable occasion. We cater to all size groups. The usual weekend day has 8-22 anglers in the party. Special arrangements for your trip may include pick-up from nearby motels located on the water, box lunches and fish cleaning. All you need to bring is plenty of food and drink and we will take care of the rest.

Fishing aboard the "Carrie Sue", the Captain and crew will provide you with the best tackle and terminal gear available. Your comfort and safety is our primary concern.

Chartering the "Carrie Sue" for your group is easy as a telephone call to Capt. Hank. Select an available date, discuss the type of fishing you like and make a deposit to hold your date for the trip. NOTE: All trips require a $200 deposit to reserve your date. We can help arrange details as required by your group. For large groups or multi-boat events, special arrangements are easily made for your occasion. The mate works for tips - the customary minimum amount is 15-20% of the total cost of the trip.
